chiropractic
Various forms of adjustments using our hands and or equipment are used to deliver movement through joints particularly the spine. These adjustments help muscles, joints and the nervous system to work better. This type of treatment is commonly used to reduce musculoskeletal pain and improve movement or stiffness.
PREGNANCY CHIROPRACTIC
All our Chiropractors are passionate and experienced in treating women through all stages of pregnancy. Modified forms of chiropractic treatment can help expecting mothers enjoy their pregnancy by reducing pain commonly suffered in the lower back, glutes, hips, pelvis and groin. Chiropractic also has the potential to decrease birth trauma to mothers and their baby. It may reduce the likelihood of unexpected caesarean delivery, the need for forceps and vacuum being used and may even reduce active labour time. It’s never too late to start chiropractic care in your pregnancy!
KIDS CHIROPRACTIC
We use modified forms of chiropractic to treat children of all ages gently and with care. Common issues we discover in infancy are colic, poor sleep, uncontrollable crying, constipation, irritability, movement disorders and feeding issues. Common problems we help older children with are poor posture, text neck, sports injuries, movement disorders and scoliosis management.
DRY NEEDLING
An effective way to provide relief for muscle pain, muscle stiffness and muscle tension. Very thin disposable needles are inserted into a muscles’ trigger point which helps reduce pain and improve flexibility and range of movement. This therapy is often used to treat sports injuries, muscle pain, chronic pain, neck pain, back pain, jaw pain and even fibromyalgia pain.
taping
Rigid taping: Provides support for hypermobile or injured joints to prevent sporting injuries or assist in supporting a current injury.
Kinesiotaping: Helps promote healing of soft tissue injuries to muscles, tendons and ligaments. Helps reduce pain inflammation of muscles that are contributing to a painful region of the body.
Postural taping: Provides postural support to maintain your spinal alignment in order to prevent pain and injury.
